As a Salesforce Engineering Manager at GitLab, you will lead the architectural vision and technical roadmap for our Salesforce platform and integrated go-to-market applications. You'll manage and mentor a team of Salesforce engineers while partnering closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Operations to translate business needs into a prioritized, high-impact engineering backlog. A key part of this role is balancing long-term platform health with near-term business needs, while driving operational excellence through strong sprint management, clear delivery expectations, and continuous improvement.
You'll also champion the integration of AI-native solutions across our operations and go-to-market systems and within team workflows, helping GitLab scale efficiently. This role includes leading large, complex programs that drive business transformation, ensuring our platform remains scalable, secure, and compliant as we grow.

The Salesforce Engineering Manager is part of the Enterprise Applications team, which is responsible for GitLab's critical business applications, including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Zuora, NetSuite, and more. This team helps GitLab scale by delivering new capabilities while maintaining a reliable, secure, and compliant production environment. The team operates fully remotely and collaborates asynchronously across multiple regions, guided by GitLab's values of transparency and open communication. You'll work closely with cross-functional partners across Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Operations to evolve our Salesforce platform and integrated go-to-market applications, balancing long-term platform health with fast-moving business needs.
